It’s not difficult to find your caffeine fix in Muang Thong Thani. There are plenty coffeeshops available in different parts of town, some are private owned but also larger chains like Starbucks, Amazon and Coffee World have branches in Muang Thong Thani and Pak Kret.
But of the many coffee shops the MTT area has to offer, Moka Mania is definitely the favorite of the residents. They started selling their (hot & cold) coffees from a food truck right opposite of the S&P restaurant.
This was so successful that there often where traffic jams in front of their shop from people trying to park to get their fix. The success enabled them to open a coffee shop just 50 meters from their previous selling location.
Original Italian Coffee
The great taste from their coffees comes from using real Italian coffee beans and on old Italian method of making the coffee with the iconic moka pots. In addition to hot coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, macchiatos and so on, they also sell cold coffees with cream and sweet syrups.
Around noon the place can get pretty crowder but you usually don’t have to wait longer than 5 to 10 minutes to receive your order. The always cheerful owner Au is fluent in English.
