Popular Condominiums
The Popular condominium area is located just behind the Impact Arena and is comprised of 24 buildings each between 14 and 16 storeys high. They are all built in a square and have a courtyard in the middle.
There are shops on the ground floor of each building and the area is close to restaurants and a market that sells only the freshest fruit and vegetables. The Popular Condominiums are in the centre of all the activity in Muang Thong Thani, so these buildings are also close to all the schools and have all the transportation options available as well.
There are two types of room available in the Popular Condominiums, Studio or 1 Bedroom. The size of the Studio apartments are between 28 square meters and 32 square meters The size for a 1 Bedroom apartment are between 38 square meters and 42 square meters.
The rent is usually between 3500-5500 THB for a fully furnished room. Sale prices range from 400.000- 800.000.
Lakeside Condominiums
The Lakeside condos are located on Bond Street. They are made up of 8 buildings and are about 30 storeys high. The Lakeside condominiums are located in a office area, so it is a lot more tranquil than the Popular Condos area.
The condos are modern, luxurious and very spacious. They have parking spaces for each room inside each building and some buildings have swimming pools and/or fitness studios. On the ground floor there are shops and eateries galore. All condos boast stunning views of the surrounding area.
Most rooms in the Lakeside condominiums are offering a 2 or 3 bedroom apartments ranging from 85 square meters to 100 square meters. But a few smaller 1 bedroom apartments are available at 55 square meters too.
The rent is usually between 10,000 – 30,000 baht, mostly depending on size. Sale prices can vary but are usually around the 2 – 3 million baht range.
Double Lake Condominiums
The Popular condominium and the Lakeside condominiums are the 2 main condo (or flat) areas in Muang Thong Thani. However MTT is developing rapidly and new condominium buildings are opening up.
One of the more noticeable new condominiums is the double lake condominium which completed it first phase in 2013. It offers views on 2 lakes and is located on Jaengwattana road, one of the main roads in the area directly connected to the highway. This is a very modern place that comes fully furnished and has an infinity swimming pool, fitness studio and parking garage within its confines.
